18th Street Plus
HIT's 18th Street program offers clients a smaller, more familiar environment. It is often the choice for clients who are bothered by too much activity around them, and need a quieter environment.
Clients in this program have many opportunities for work, including working on a collating and mailing contract, doing contracted commercial laundry, cleaning bus shelters in Bismarck and Mandan as well as yard maintenance around the building at 1007-18th St. NW in Mandan.
Admission to this program is intentionally limited to maintain the quieter environment.
The Plus in the 18th Street Plus program is several individuals who have one-to-one staffing and have specific work and recreation tasks throughout the day. These clients and their staff are based out of our building at 2640 Sunset Drive NW in Mandan ND, but are supervised by Angela Schultz, who also supervises the 18th Street program.
