Playing a board game
People attending HIT's senior program enjoy many leisure activities, including playing board games.
HIT's Senior program continues to grow as many of our clients are getting older and deciding they would rather spend their days doing things seniors do -- having coffee with their friends, baking sweets, reading the newspaper daily and playing bingo.

Our Senior 1 program offers pet therapy, with a pet Abyssinian guinea pig named Roedy, several birds and visits from Cali, the wonder dog, three days a week. Clients in this program also participate in social and volunteer activities, including delivering Meals on Wheels in Mandan once a week.

In the Senior 2 program, clients are offered a variety of craft activities to appeal to their creative side. They have an embroidering machine and enjoy working on projects with that.
