HIT, Inc., Employment Services provides job development, job placement and coaching services to assist individuals with disabilities acquire gainful and competitive employment.
For most clients, finding a job is the primary goal. However, we also offer job shadowing, situational assessments and other evaluation tools that help clients determine whether a job suits them. Once a client is successfully placed in a job, HIT's job coaches work with the client and the employer to ensure success and stability, if needed.
HIT offers Employment Services in Bismarck/Mandan and Dickinson. We have four full-time job developers/coaches and three part-time job developer/coaches, offering clients a choice of personalities and areas of expertise.
Generally, our clients are referred to us through the North Dakota Division of Vocational Rehabilition or another agency.
We also offer a Youth Employment Program, which assists youth with disabilities in finding their first job. This program is funded through a grant from the Walmart State Giving Fund. To apply for this program, a student must be on a 504 Plan or IEP and must be 16 or older. For more information or an application, please contact manager Josh Villbrandt.
