<title>2012 Pat's Pantry BIGGER than ever!</title>

<description><![CDATA[Thank all the HIT staff for doing another outstanding job with Pat&#8217;s Pantry.  It is amazing how each year HIT staff surpass previous year numbers!!!    &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All of the staff who participated donated a whopping total of  5,881 items surpassing last year by 1,845 items donated! The donated items benefited the following: families in much need in Dickenson under the KIDS Program, West River Head Start families they serve, restock the Mandan Center Pantry. Also, Carries Kids filled a truck for her after school programs to help kids have enough to eat over the weekend. Community Blessings was able to restock their empty pantry and they went away with a truck and a van load of items!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All staff who participated are truly a blessing to the families and kids who will benefit!! HIT truly can't thank our remarkable staff enough with all of your generous donations to the annual Pat's Pantry campaign.]]></description>

These donors consisted of the HIT Foundation board and the HIT, Inc. board and the HIT, Inc. leadership team. We are proud to have a 100% participation and commitment from all involved for this phase!  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks for the stewardship that was demonstrated by the Founding Funders by generating over $60,000 in gifts to the HIT Foundation.  ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Congratulations to HIT's very own Savannah Poitra for being selected as North Dakota's DSP of the year for ANCOR (American Network of Community Options and Resources).  She returned from the awards ceremony in Washington DC this week where she was presented the award for being the top DSP in North Dakota.  Savannah leads by example in teaching the skills to other DSPs needed to provide a remarkable service. Savannah works in our residential program with adolescents.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;HIT also had the top DSP in North Dakota last year!]]></description>

<title>2011 Pat's Pantry a huge success!</title>

<description><![CDATA[Each year HIT Inc. employees gather food products, toys, household supplies for a non-profit company in the Bismarck Mandan area each October and November.  In 2011 HIT, Inc. selected the Carries Kids, Ruth Myers House, KIDS Program and West River Head Start to receive the donated supplies. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This year was great to see all the wonderful items donated to Pat&#8217;s Pantry If Pat were here today she would be so proud of all of you.  HIT surely can say that we employ REMARKABLE People!!  All the wonderful giving hearts chipped in a grand total of 4,036 items. We surpassed last year by 475 items!!!! WOW and THANK YOU!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Last year over 103 HIT, Inc. employees participated and gathered over 3,561 items for donation to the HIT Pat's Pantry campaign. Pat's Pantry is named after the late Pat Knudson, a very dedicated employee at HIT and for the individuals we support.&lt;br /&gt;]]></description>

<title>2010 Pat's Pantry Campaign</title>

In 2010 HIT has selected the Abused Adult Resource Center and West River Head Start to receive the donated supplies. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The 2010 winners of Pat&#8217;s Pantry is&#8230; 18th St Day Program! They turned in a whopping 1091 points worth of items which averages to 99 points per person. This also raised our total people of donating up to 103 people. There was a total of 3,561 items donated. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In 2009 over 90 employees participated and gathered over 2500 items for donation to the HIT Pat's Pantry campaign.
