Creative Learning

HIT Inc's Creative Learning Program is perfect for people who are able to work on prevocational skills, such as focus, taking direction, building stamina, and other work readiness skills. It also is a good fit for people who desire to be in a program that offers a variety of prevocational as well as rec/leisure activities.

People in this program participate in volunteer activities in the Bismarck and Mandan communities as well as recreational and leisure activities, like swimming and going out for coffee. Many also have physical therapy or mobility exercises they practice regularly to keep themselves limber and to improve their physical skills, like standing and walking. Creative Learning is also home to a special group of young adults whose abilities allow them to participate in educational opportunities and community discussions.
